The Skys is the leading progressive rock band in Lithuania. It is also the most recognized Lithuanian band abroad.

2024 – Tour in Japan and Europe.
2023 – inducted to The Akademia Hall of Fame.
2022 – performed at Cambridge Rock Festival.
2020-2021 – received 17 awards for music video “Communication”.
2019 – the new album Automatic Minds has been released. Mastered at Abbey Road Studios, recorded in Los Angeles and London with Grammy Award winner Dom Morley. Featuring: India Carney (Top 5 The Voice of America), Durga McBroom (from Pink Floyd), Glenn Sharp (Behind Total War series), Snowy White (from Pink Floyd), Neil Taylor (Robbie Williams band), Justin Klunk (from Ariana Grande band), Robert Townsend (from Steve Hackett band).
2019 – got The Akademia Executive Award
2017 – Colours of the Desert was nominated for the best Rock album out of 17K albums and The Pyramid for the best Rock Song out of 240K songs at JPF music awards.
2016 – got The Akademia Music Award for Best Rock Song.
2015 – got The Akademia Music Award for Best Rock/Experimental Song.
2013 and 2014 – played around 100 shows.
2013 – the album exclusively rereleased for German Market via Dr. Music Records.
2012 – The Skys music received TV and radio airplay on hundreds of radio stations across Europe, USA and Canada with interviews in Netherlands, Poland, UK and “album of the week” in Austria, A-listed in Norway, 12 weeks at top 30 charts in Poland.
2012 – many high-quality press articles were published about the band in all major Lithuanian newspapers. The Skys album reviews showed up in The USA, Canada, Europe and receiving the very high evaluation.
2012 – the album was re-released on Out of the Box Records.
2012 – The Skys got 9 Awards at various Polish Festivals.
2011 – The Skys signed a publishing contract with Apollo Live.
2010 – The Skys signed an exclusive digital distribution deal with Cinderella Records.
2004 – The Skys were signed to Sutaras Record label for album “Postmodern Game”.
2001 – The Skys made a musical theater performance “Civilized” which was presented in one of the biggest theaters in Vilnius – Jaunimo Teatras.
